Job Description Summary:

Occupation as a Mechanic Lead Drywall Framer, under the direction and supervision of designated Foreman or Superintendent(s), duties include but not limited to displaying strong skills in planning, organizing and supervising. Provide expertise in performing journeyman-level Drywall Framer duties. Consulting with clients and contractors in a professional manner, assigning tasks, ensure jobs are completed in due time and work is performed according to Swinerton standards. Discipline, mentor and monitor performance of employees. Support activities at all Swinerton job-sites as directed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Mechanic Lead Drywall Framer is responsible for the effective and accurate performance of all assigned responsibilities including but not limited to:
  • Supervision of field personnel
  • Providing expertise in performing journeyman-level drywall framer duties.
  • Review project plan and blueprints.
  • Perform layout with drawings, coordination drawings or model, generate RFI's for conflicts or differing conditions
  • Estimate time, material, equipment and supplies needed.
  • Track production of all phases of framing, drywall and finishing
  • Develop and manage JHA's, ensure crews are working safely and properly trained
  • Enter daily time in Exaktime (Swinerton timekeeping system) for crew
  • Maintains records of operations.
  • Request supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure work areas are properly maintained.
  • Utilize a proactive approach to anticipate and resolve potential issues.
  • Consulting with Mechanic Foreman and contractors in a professional manner.
  • Ensure jobs are completed in due time and ensure work in performed according to Swinerton standards. Discipline, mentor and monitoring performance of employees.

MINIMUM SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a Mechanic Drywall Framer or similar role.
  • Ability to learn new Management skills with attention to detail.
  • Lift and/or pull 75lbs., climb ladders, work off of ladders, man lifts or other equipment.
  • Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time, fully squat, bend or kneel while wearing a tool belt.
  • Display basic computer skills
  • Capable of working in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Uphold Swinerton Core Values of Integrity, Leadership, Passion and Excellence at all times.
  • Adhere to all OSHA and Swinerton safety practices and procedures.
  • Support activities at all Swinerton job-sites as directed.
