What are Driving Assessors?

Driving Assessors are professionals who evaluate the driving skills and knowledge of individuals, usually for the purpose of licensing, employment, or safety compliance. They observe candidates during practical driving tests and may also conduct theoretical assessments to ensure a thorough understanding of road rules and safe driving practices. Driving Assessors are often employed by government transport departments, private driving schools, or organizations that require regular driver evaluations. Their role is crucial in maintaining road safety standards by ensuring that only competent drivers are permitted to operate vehicles.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Driving Assessor, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Driving Assessor, you need in-depth knowledge of driving regulations, assessment techniques, and typically a relevant driving license along with assessor or instructor qualifications.
