We are seeking a Clinical Conduct Team Lead to join our Lincoln, NE team!  This role will primarily work 8a-5p Monday-Friday with some early mornings and weekends. 
 
Purpose:
To manage a team of clinical staff through the daily clinical activities to deliver Quality, On-Time performance.  
Essential Functions
  • Staff Responsibilities
  • Responsible for staff management in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; development and coaching of employees.
  • Identify and manage staffing requirements including action plans to adjust staff accordingly.
  • Track and assess the performance of direct reports; set specific achievable and relevant performance objectives.
  • Review and monitor established clinic performance metrics.
  • Ensure high quality clinical standards.
  • Ensure high quality training by identifying training needs and providing actual training.
  • Monitor staff attendance as required by site.
  • Attend department and/or team meetings.
  • Ability to work in required work environment, including but not limited to working in a clinical/ laboratory environment with exposure to biological/ biohazardous materials and second hand smoke from combustible cigarettes and vapors from electronic cigarettes.    
 
  • Conduct Responsibilities 
  • Perform conduct events
  • Responsibility for collection and follow-up of data query reports and ensure staff completes queries prior to shift end.
  • Perform process audits and report observations to CCM.
  • Communicate study specific issues/work to CCS and/or Study Manager.
  • Complete CCO shift report as assigned and email to appropriate staff.
  • Monitor events required on each shift and ensure on-time performance.
  • Respond to pages and ensure required action is taken on a timely basis.
  • Review shift data and perform QC checks.
  • Ensure clinic equipment is operating properly.
  • Ensure that clinic areas are clean, properly set-up and organized.
  • Responsibility for ensuring accurate OTL timesheet entry by reviewing and approving of  timesheets on a weekly basis.
  • Achieve Certified Trainer status within 1 year of entering role.
 
Knowledge / Skills / Education / Licenses
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent education and/or experience required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to handle and organize multiple priorities.
  • 1-2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • *Equivalent education and experience will be considered.
