DESCRIPTION
About the Role
We are looking for a creative, reliable, and detail-oriented Donut Chef to join our team. The Donut Chef will be responsible for preparing, frying, finishing, and presenting fresh donuts and related dessert items. This role requires consistency, cleanliness, creativity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare donut doughs, batters, fillings, glazes, icings, and toppings according to recipes and standards.
  • Fry, bake, fill, glaze, decorate, and finish donuts consistently.
  • Maintain high standards for taste, texture, appearance, and portion control.
  • Assist with developing seasonal flavors, specials, and new donut offerings.
  • Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and allergen procedures.
  • Keep the donut prep area clean, organized, and fully stocked.
  • Monitor ingredient inventory and communicate ordering needs to management.
  • Properly label, date, rotate, and store all food products.
  • Set up and break down the donut station before and after service.
  • Work with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure timely production.
  • Maintain consistency during high-volume periods, special events, and promotions.
  • Assist with other prep or dessert duties as needed.

Qualifications
  • Previous baking, pastry, donut, or kitchen experience preferred.
  • Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency.
  • Strong attention to detail and presentation.
  • Comfortable working early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
