These skills ensure the dog can perform reliably on set, interact safely with people and other animals, and fulfill the creative expectations of clients.

Can I submit my dog to be a model?

Dog modeling is a legitimate profession where owners can submit their dogs to agencies or participate in casting calls for advertisements, photo shoots, and campaigns. Handlers are responsible for ensuring the dog is calm, comfortable, and ready to follow cues from photographers or directors, while also keeping schedules and maintaining the dog's appearance. The job can be dynamic, with days varying from short, local sessions to full-day shoots that require patience and adaptability. Collaboration with creative teams, animal trainers, and sometimes other animals is common. Successful Dog Models often have supportive handlers who are proactive in managing their needs and maximizing their performance opportunities.
