Job Description

We are seeking a Production and Imaging Document Scanner to join our team. The successful candidate will operate high-volume document scanning equipment, ensure image quality, and support nightly production workflows with safe material handling.

Work Schedule and Shift Details:

  • Primary start time at 6:00 pm. Clean desk or up to 12 hours based on mail volume.
  • Typical schedule: Monday 6:00 pm–4:00 am, Tuesday 6:00 pm–2:00 am, Wednesday 6:00 pm–10:00/11:00 pm, Thursday 6:00 pm–10:00 pm (as needed), Friday 6:00 pm–12:00 am. Schedule may vary with daily mail volume.

Responsibilities:

  • Load paper documents into scanning machines and monitor throughput.
  • Inspect scanned images for quality, completeness, and correct orientation. Identify and correct errors.
  • Follow production priorities to meet nightly completion targets and clean desk requirements.
  • Handle materials safely, including lifting up to 50 lbs and staging pallets.
  • Operate a pallet jack to move and position materials as directed.
  • Use basic computer functions to start jobs, track batches, and document exceptions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ability to operate high-volume document scanners or similar production equipment.
  • Attention to detail for image review and error detection. No typing required.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Experience using a pallet jack and following safety procedures.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience in mailroom, imaging, or production environments.
  • Familiarity with batch tracking or quality control checklists.
