Job description

Job Summary:

This position supports the agency’s records management operations by preparing, scanning, indexing, and archiving documents, as well as assisting with mail processing and basic office support. Work is performed under general supervision.


*This position is onsite (5 days per week)*


Key Responsibilities

• Open, sort, and prepare incoming mail for scanning or distribution

• Review documents for open records request language

• Prepare, scan, and index documents with at least 80% accuracy

• Retrieve documents from divisions and prepare originals for archival storage

• Perform routine scanner cleaning and basic troubleshooting

• Apply postage and prepare outgoing mail for courier pick up

• Deliver files, forms, and supplies to internal divisions and external entities

• Maintain monthly inventory of forms, publications, and envelopes

• Order and distribute office supplies

• Perform other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma

• 1+ year of experience scanning, indexing, or in a similar clerical role
