Job description

Job Overview:

Primoris Distribution Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Administrative Assistant to support our project management and field operations teams. This role is responsible for coordinating administrative functions, maintaining project documentation, assisting with reporting and scheduling activities, and ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of construction projects.

Our Tampa office is located at 6001 N 50thSt, Tampa, FL 33610.

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, customer-focused, and capable of effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to project managers, supervisors, and field personnel.
  • Maintain and organize project documentation, permits, correspondence, and records in both physical and electronic formats.
  • Track project milestones, deadlines, and status updates.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of project reports and documentation.
  • Coordinate meetings, site visits, and project-related appointments.
  • Update and maintain project databases, spreadsheets, and tracking logs.
  • Serve as a professional point of contact for customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with processing and tracking daily field paperwork and related administrative activities.
  • Support project closeout activities and document collection.
  • Maintain office organization and filing systems for efficient document retrieval.
  • Manage office supplies and coordinate maintenance of office equipment.
  • Provide administrative support for safety compliance and reporting activities as needed.

  • Working knowledge of Sunshine 811, including submitting and coordinating locate requests (preferred).
