Job Title: Document Control Administrator / Quality Control
Location: Houston, TX (Fully Onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Employment Type: Full-Time Contract (with potential for permanent hire in Spring 2026)


Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Control Administrator with strong quality control exp to join a collaborative and fast-paced team. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the integrity of documentation related to engineering and manufacturing efforts, ensuring alignment with internal documentation procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and documentation experience who thrives in a structured environment and enjoys process-driven work.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and control project documentation in accordance with established procedures

  • Conduct quality control on documents

  • Generate Bills of Material (BOM) and pull relevant vendor documents

  • Upload, revise, and archive quality and vendor documentation in document management systems

  • Scan, prepare, and electronically file project quality documents

  • Build and distribute electronic data books and physical quality manuals as assigned

  • Manage the documentation mailbox and file incoming records appropriately

  • Prepare materials for off-site storage and assist with general administrative support

  • Support internal teams and collaborate with stakeholders across departments

  • Assist with onboarding and training of new hires as needed

  • Provide occasional reception coverage and perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred

  • 2–4 years of prior document control experience

  • Experience with document control processes in engineering, manufacturing, or similar technical environments is a plus

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

  • Quality Control experience

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Comfortable handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting

  • Experience using document management systems is preferred

  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with a commitment to continuous learning
