Senior Quality & Regulatory Compliance SpecialistLead Quality. Ensure Compliance. Drive Continuous Improvement.

WPT Corporation is seeking an experienced Senior Quality & Regulatory Compliance Specialist to support and maintain our ISO 9001 Quality Management System while ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry requirements.

This is a highly visible role that serves as the organization's subject matter expert for quality system administration, document control, calibration management, audit coordination, corrective action tracking, regulatory compliance, and customer quality requirements. Working closely with Production, Operations, Maintenance, Purchasing, Sales, Customer Service, and Quality leadership, you will play a critical role in maintaining our ISO certification, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and helping deliver products that consistently exceed customer expectations.

What You'll Do

As the Senior Quality & Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will:

Quality Management Systems
  • Maintain and continually improve WPT Corporation's ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
  • Manage document control, including procedures, work instructions, specifications, forms, and quality records.
  • Ensure controlled documents are reviewed, approved, distributed, and maintained in accordance with ISO requirements.
  • Support development and implementation of quality system improvements and best practices.
Audits & Certification
  • Coordinate and participate in internal quality audits.
  • Prepare documentation for customer, supplier, and certification audits.
  • Track audit findings and corrective actions through completion.
  • Support activities required to maintain ISO 9001 certification.
Calibration Management
  • Administer the company's calibration program for inspection, measuring, and testing equipment.
  • Maintain calibration schedules, records, and certificates.
  • Coordinate external calibration providers and internal verification activities.
  • Investigate and document out-of-calibration conditions.
Regulatory & Customer Compliance
  • Coordinate customer requests for regulatory, environmental, and quality documentation.
  • Maintain compliance documentation related to REACH, RoHS, PFAS, Proposition 65, TSCA, CMRT, POPs, FDA, Country of Origin, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Obtain and maintain supplier certifications and declarations.
  • Prepare customer compliance questionnaires, declarations, certifications, and technical documentation.
Corrective Actions & Continuous Improvement
  • Track customer complaints, supplier quality issues, nonconforming products, and corrective actions.
  • Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Monitor effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and waste reduction.
Quality Reporting & Data Analysis
  • Collect and analyze quality performance data.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and management review materials.
  • Monitor quality trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain quality databases and reporting systems.
Cross-Functional Support
  • Partner with Production, Operations, Maintenance, Purchasing, Sales, Customer Service, and Engineering to achieve quality objectives.
  • Support new product trials, process validations, and quality investigations.
  • Coordinate quality-related training records and documentation.
  • Promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
QualificationsEducation
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent education and relevant experience will be considered.
Experience
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing quality environment.
  • Experience administering ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems strongly preferred.
  • Experience with document control, internal audits, calibration management, corrective actions, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manufacturing experience required.
Knowledge & Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience supporting regulatory compliance within manufacturing.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to interpret customer specifications, technical documentation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of REACH, RoHS, PFAS, Proposition 65, TSCA, CMRT, POPs, FDA documentation, and Country of Origin requirements is highly desirable.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across multiple departments.
