WORK EXPERIENCE
• Practical experience with risk and control management in an audit, accounting, risk management in operations or information technology/information security, and/or operational risk management, or a combination thereof
• Experience with process documentation and risk and control assessments
• Understanding of the regulatory environment, and Office of Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and Federal Reserve Board (FRB) expectations
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
• Experience with process documentation and risk and control assessments
• Experience with problem solving in a team environment by thinking outside of the box and providing innovative solutions, with and without technology
• Preferred experience includes:
• - Project management role

RESPONSIBILITIES
• - Support the execution and documentation of risk assessments for in-scope processes across business units
• - Evaluate and perform an end-to-end analysis of the risk and control environment to identify significant gaps and weaknesses in partnership with stakeholders, including process owners and control officers
• - Document process activities and associated risks and controls, including process descriptions, process prioritization, and top-down risk profiles
• - Support and document the determination of inherent risk ratings, control ratings, and residual risk ratings of information risks
• - Provide project management support in tracking and coordinating the execution of risk and control self-assessment (RCSA) activities
• - Develop status reporting and communications of assessment activities for processes
• - Provide ongoing communication to internal stakeholders throughout the assessment process to keep them apprised of progress and findings, escalating when appropriate
• - Support iterative review and challenge of assessment results, working with appropriate stakeholders across the lines of defense
• - Assist with coordination of required meetings, reviews, and scheduling needs
• - Prepare materials for ongoing team meetings and meetings with senior leadership
• - Participate in control testing walkthroughs and prepare meaningful documentation to support testing conclusions
• - Coordinate control testing activities, including logistical scheduling and document retrieval to support control testing in accordance with internal requirements
• - Liaise with risk assessment team and other stakeholders to ensure control testing is in alignment with broader risk assessment activities
• - Create synergies by identifying opportunities to repurpose control testing results to satisfy assessment requirements across the bank
EDUCATION
• Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable.
CERTIFICATIONS
• Preferred: one or more professional certification, such as: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS), Certification in Risk Management and Assurance (CRMA)
The typical base pay range for this role is between $71K - $88K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonuses and/or incentive compensation.
