If you're an upbeat, organized, tech savvy, responsible person who can successfully multi-task AND you have experience with CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS, please apply! The primary focus of this role is to assist the project team with the administration of the Emergency Response Program. You will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary project team performing Administrative/Document Control functions. You'll have the opportunity to grow professionally and learn new skills at this position and with CAFCO Group.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of general administrative/clerical tasks.
  • Create and maintain project files, copies, scan and archive all correspondence and project documents.
  • Compile, track ,and report on information from multiple sources relevant to project assignment.
  • Prepare and edit project related documents, including reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations.
  • Compile, review, and analyze data.
  • Process, log and track shop drawings, submittals and Requests for Information (RFI).
  • Coordinate with remote construction teams using web-based software to share documents and files.
  • Prepare master subconsultant Agreements and Work Orders.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as an administrative assistant or document control clerk with a CM or a construction organization; or a technical degree from an accredited college and one (1) year experience as an administrative assistant or document control clerk with a CM or a construction organization.
  • Working knowledge of computer software systems, e.g., Excel, Word.
  • Experience using web-based project management software preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and follow up on assignments.
  • Willingness to work under time constraints and project deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A high level of integrity and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
  • A commitment to providing outstanding client service while working collectively as a part of a team.
  • Physical requirements may include walking and standing during the shift, climbing stairs, bending, push and pull objects, lift and move objects (up to 50 lbs.), repetitive bending and lifting, and repetitive arm movements.
