Job Schedule: 9/80 (employee's work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked - and have every other Friday off)

Job Description:

The Industrial Personnel Security and Document Control position will support the Facility Security Officer/Security Manager as the primary point of contact for all industrial security clearances and will perform a range of administrative security support functions including data entry, record maintenance, log management, scheduling presentations, and badge creation. Looking for the ability to work autonomously on complex assignments, while resolving issues. In addition to the personnel security duties, this role will have additional duties as the document control liaison for many program deliverables. Managing sensitive information and overseeing the safeguarding, tracking and auditing of all classified material. Identify process gaps to the Facility Security Officer and help initiate process improvement. This position will support many of the current classified contracts requiring backup security personnel for Sensitive Compartmented Information and Special Access Program related taskings.

Essential Functions:

Conduct onboarding and security indoctrination for cleared employees.

Process and manage personnel security clearances through DISS.

Submit visit requests, clearance upgrades, and new submissions.

Assist with visitor control, foreign travel, classified meetings

Help prepare for DCSA security reviews, self-inspections, and internal audits.

Supervises classified document holdings, ensuring document custodians are trained in logging, cataloging, filing, and retrieving highly classified sensitive documents and materials.

Enforcing stringent controls and procedures when receiving and transmitting documents, inventory of records, destroying classified,

Determine, perform or coordinate destructions of various levels of classified material.

Assist with badge access management

Light travel is required locally to military installations requiring Two Person Integrity.

Will require work to exceed 9hrs a day/40hrs a week occasionally.

Must be able to obtain a US security clearance as a job required.

Required Qualifications (one of the following):

High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.

2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
Must hold a Secret clearance and obtain a final DoD Top Secret clearance within 12 months.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Knowledge of CUI, ITAR, EAR and export control regulations

Familiarity with security management systems such as DISS, NISS, NBIS, eAPP, SIMS, SWFT.

Experience supporting COMSEC, Physical Security, Information Assurance

Top Secret Eligibility preferred

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $68,500 - $127,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
