Responsibilities for a Quality Control Technician include but are not limited to:

  • Perform incoming inspections, First Article Inspections (FAI), and final product audit releases using precision measurement tools like CMMs, calipers, micrometers, and microscopes.

  • Document non-conforming materials and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) records in ERP, EQMS (Compliant Pro), and calibration databases.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Production and Engineering teams to isolate product quality issues, support customer RMAs, and participate in compliance audits.

Candidates for Quality Control Technician must meet the following requirements to be considered:

  • Associate Degree (AAS) in a technical discipline with at least 5 years of manufacturing quality inspection experience (medical device environment preferred).

  • Demonstrated expertise reading engineering drawings and using inspection equipment (CMM, optical comparator, height gages, multimeters, oscilloscopes).

  • Strong computer proficiency (MS Office, ERP, EQMS, calibration software) with knowledge of validation and calibration standards.
