Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced OpenText Exstream Developer with mandatory hands-on expertise in both OpenText Exstream and OpenText Command Center. The role focuses on document composition development, migration support, validation, testing, and close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality document generation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, enhance, and maintain document composition applications using OpenText Exstream
• Perform validation and testing as part of OpenText Command Center migration activities
• Analyze existing applications and collaborate with SMEs to assess migration impact
• Prepare detailed unit test plans and execute test scripts for existing and new Exstream applications
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather and translate requirements
• Support migration activities involving OpenText Exstream and job scheduling tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve document generation and output issues
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, security, and maintainability
• Document technical solutions, configurations, and all migration-related activities
Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of experience in OpenText Exstream development
• 3-5 years of experience with OpenText Command Center
• Strong experience with Exstream Design Manager and related components
• Hands-on experience with Exstream scripting, template design, data integration, and transformation
• Proficiency in UNIX or Shell scripting
• Strong understanding of document composition concepts
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Ability to work onsite in Mt. Laurel, NJ office 4 days per week
