Job description

Sales and Customer Service Coordinator

Marietta, GA | Full-Time | On-site

About DMP Discount Marketing Products (DMP) is a leading provider of promotional merchandise, helping businesses build brand visibility through reliable, cost-effective solutions. We are a team that takes customer experience seriously and holds each other to a high standard.

About the Role This is not a standard office coordinator position. DMP is looking for someone who can own the customer-facing side of our sales operation, including managing our shared sales inbox, fielding inbound inquiries with professionalism and product confidence, and coordinating order flow from first contact through fulfillment.

You will be the first point of contact for many of our customers. How you communicate, how quickly you respond, and how well you represent our product line directly affects our reputation and our revenue. Within your first 30 days, you will be expected to understand our product catalog well enough to generate basic quotes independently.

This role is right for someone who combines strong business communication skills with an organized, detail-driven approach to daily operations. If you are energized by a busy environment where your work has direct commercial impact, this is the role.

What You Will Own

  • Manage and respond to the shared sales inbox with professionalism and urgency
  • Handle inbound calls and customer inquiries, representing DMP with accuracy and confidence
  • Provide product and website quotes, including shipping and freight estimates, within standard service timelines
  • Assign and route orders and artwork to the appropriate team members
  • Set up new customer accounts and support order coordination through fulfillment
  • Coordinate sample orders
  • Greet and assist walk-in customers and visitors
  • Process incoming checks and route mail appropriately
  • Assist with payment follow-up as needed
  • Maintain office supplies and shared spaces
  • Support our upcoming ERP implementation with clean data entry and operational follow-through

What We Are Looking For

  • Prior experience in a customer-facing office, inside sales support, or sales coordination role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write clear, professional responses to customers without supervision
  • Solid business acumen and the instincts to represent a company well in writing
  • Ability to learn a product catalog quickly and translate that knowledge into accurate quotes
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with a track record of managing competing priorities without dropping the ball
  • Comfortable learning new systems; ERP experience is a plus
  • High school diploma required; no college degree required

Why Join DMP

  • Full benefits available on Day 1
  • Stable, team-oriented environment with visibility across sales and operations
  • Hands-on role with real commercial impact
  • Supportive leadership, clear expectations, and a chance to grow as the company grows

Schedule Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Discount Marketing Products is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse, inclusive, and respectful workplace.
