Our Client is seeking a Division 10 Estimator to join their Pre-Construction team in Woburn, MA. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and experience preparing accurate, competitive estimates for commercial construction projects.


Position Summary

The Division 10 Estimator is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, and supporting the bid process for commercial construction specialties. This role plays a key part in ensuring project profitability and successful execution from pre-construction through award.


Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project documents to develop accurate scopes of work and cost estimates

  • Prepare detailed take-offs and pricing for Division 10 specialties and related scopes

  • Develop and submit competitive bid proposals and budgets for commercial projects

  • Identify labor, material, and equipment costs to ensure complete and accurate estimates

  • Maintain and update cost databases and vendor/subcontractor pricing

  • Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors to validate scope and pricing

  • Review bid documents, identify discrepancies, and resolve scope gaps prior to submission

  • Support project handoff to operations teams upon award

  • Continuously expand knowledge of Division 10 products and related construction systems


Qualifications

  • 2+ years as an Assistant Estimator or 5–7 years of relevant construction estimating experience

  • Experience estimating Division 10 specialties or related commercial construction scopes

  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and bid processes

  • Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar tools)

  • Knowledge of material, labor, and equipment pricing in commercial construction

  • Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
