Division 10 Estimator

Location: Oldsmar, FL (Tampa Area)

Position Overview

An established commercial construction contractor is seeking a Division 10 Estimator to help grow its expanding specialties division in the Florida market. This is an opportunity to join a financially stable organization while playing a key role in building a growing business unit.

The ideal candidate will have Division 10 estimating experience, enjoy working in a collaborative environment, and be interested in growing into additional responsibilities as the department expands.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate estimates for commercial Division 10 projects.

  • Review construction drawings and specifications.

  • Perform quantity takeoffs and develop complete bid packages.

  • Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.

  • Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams throughout the bidding process.

  • Assist with project turnover after award.

  • As workload grows, transition into project management responsibilities for awarded projects.

  • Help establish estimating processes and best practices for the growing Division 10 department.

Qualifications
  • Experience estimating Division 10 specialties for commercial construction projects.

  • Ability to read architectural drawings and specifications.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt.

  • Comfortable working from an office environment.

Preferred Experience
  • Commercial construction estimating experience.

  • Experience using Excel for estimating.

  • Experience with Comsense is a plus but not required.
