About the Role
Vertiv is seeking a Warranty Program Manager - 3rd Party & One Core to lead warranty program execution for non-Vertiv (3rd-party) components installed within Vertiv-branded integrated solutions. This role plays a key part in supporting the integration and ongoing operations of One Core, a recently acquired third-party business, as well as other external components used across Vertiv solutions.
This position is focused on program ownership, operational execution, and cross-functional coordination-ensuring warranty responsibilities, workflows, and escalation paths are clearly defined, consistently executed, and continuously improved. While the role leverages data, dashboards, and reporting to drive insight and accountability, it is fundamentally a program management and execution role, not a data science or modeling position.
Key Responsibilities Program Ownership - One Core & 3rd-Party Warranty Execution
  • Own warranty program execution for One Core and other 3rd-party components integrated into Vertiv solutions.
  • Define and maintain warranty processes, ownership models, and escalation paths for non-Vertiv products.
  • Ensure warranty terms and execution responsibilities are clearly documented, understood, and operationalized.

Process & Workflow Management
  • Design, implement, and maintain warranty workflows using Smartsheet or similar platforms to support intake, tracking, escalation, and resolution.
  • Partner with Service, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Technical Support to align processes with operational requirements.
  • Identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement to reduce cycle time, risk, and customer impact.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Communication
  • Lead regular cross-functional cadence to review performance, open issues, risks, and corrective actions related to 3rd-party warranty execution.
  • Act as the primary coordination point for warranty topics involving One Core and external component suppliers.
  • Communicate status, risks, and recommendations to internal stakeholders and leadership.

Escalation & Issue Resolution
  • Manage escalated warranty issues involving third-party components, driving timely resolution through coordination across teams.
  • Balance customer experience, contractual obligations, and cost considerations when resolving complex warranty scenarios.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for 3rd-party warranty execution and governance.

Reporting & Insights
  • Define and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warranty execution, escalation trends, cycle time, and recurring issues.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using Smartsheet, Power BI, or similar tools to provide actionable program visibility.
  • Use insights to support prioritization, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field preferred.
  • 4-8 years of experience in program management, process improvement, or operations, preferably within warranty, service, manufacturing, or customer support environments.
  • Strong experience managing cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with workflow and reporting tools such as Smartsheet (advanced user preferred).
  • Experience with dashboards and analytics tools (Power BI or similar) to monitor performance and support decision-making.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into operational actions.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage ambiguity.

Preferred:
  • CAPM, PMP, or equivalent program/project management experience.
  • Experience supporting third-party suppliers, integrations, or multi-vendor environments.
