Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Vertiv is hiring a Program Manager in Westerville, OH to join our execution team, this role will provide value to our customers by overseeing strategic initiatives across one or more global strategic accounts. This role will be involved from quoting phase through the operational phase of all customer sites as well as work on initiatives within Vertiv that aid the account. In this role you will indirectly lead cross functional teams to resolve program wide issues. This role will also focus on our digital platforms, mainly Oracle, Smartsheet and Power BI which are used to aid in the execution of our business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Partner with sales and order management to ensure accuracy of orders, that quotes have revenue allocated correctly, and that manufacturing and shipping of product takes place as scheduled. Escalate potential risk to the execution manager.
  • Work with assigned function leaders to define/set appropriate targets for improvement to design, quality, manufacturing, shipping, and operations efforts and measure progress to targets.
  • Lead data integrity efforts for equipment pertaining to assigned customer by ensuring data in install base is updated and accurate.
  • Ensure data being reported to customer pertaining to ship dates, serial numbers, model numbers, etc... is accurate.
  • Oversee deployment of field change notice (FCN) and factory direct service (FDS).
  • Ensure all change orders are entered properly in CPQ and are booked in EBS.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 4+ years of relative industry experience, preferably in manufacturing or supply chain environment
  • Prior experience indirectly influencing project teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Hands-on experience in the application of Lean/Six Sigma methods and way of thinking.
• Strong leadership, organizational, project management and inter-personal skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in local language and English.
• Strong analytical skills, including the use of statistical modeling techniques, root cause analysis and other tools and methods typically deployed to drive operational improvements.
• Ability to influence and lead in a matrix organization to drive accountably and execution of VOS mindset and activities.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent of 5 plus years' experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
