District Manager – Charlotte, NC

We’re looking for a self-driven, self-aware leader who’s devoted to inspiring and motivating their team and providing an exceptional customer experience.

Job Description for a District Manager

  • Accountable for all district store activities and operations impacting customers, staff, and the achievement of company goals/expectations through direct interaction and use of appropriate company resources.
  • Meets company revenue goals by achieving or exceeding monthly budget expectations.
  • Conducts facility audits to ensure physical and operational standards are being met.
  • Directly oversees daily activities and scheduling of staff and provides feedback, positive and corrective.
  • Recruits, interviews, and hires new staff members.
  • Leads by example, creating a climate in which staff wants to do their best by leading and communicating a shared vision with teammates and providing coaching and development.
  • Travels within the designated area to every store and to other designated locations as directed by the company to attend meetings and training sessions

Qualifications

  • Must have multi-unit retail sales/service operations leadership experience, preferably in a transferable industry such as Retail Sales, Hotel, Restaurant, Leasing, Travel, Car Rental, or Equipment Rental.
  • Proven ability to consistently meet and exceed performance standards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and coach staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deal with numerous interruptions.
  • Works well under pressure while meeting deadlines consistently.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Demonstrated leadership in building, developing, and retaining high-performing teams of hourly employees in a retail, sales, service, or related industry.
  • Exceptional communication, people skills, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and web-based systems.
  • Passion for customer service excellence and coaching staff.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

  • Annual compensation to include a base pay of $90,000 with a potential of up to $120,000 with metrics-based quarterly bonuses and a performance-based annual bonus.
