Aramark Destinations has an exciting opportunity for a Controller, overseeing the Mountain West District.

COMPENSATION: The salary range hourly rate for this position is $80,000 - $95,000. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer.  This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, the successful candidate will: 

  • Partner with one or more General Managers and other business leaders to identify financial risks and opportunities, make recommendations, and drive positive financial outcomes.
  • Manage a team of Finance professionals, providing direction and support as needed.  Develop team members for career growth and succession planning by providing training, coaching, and feedback.  
  • Oversee and ensure successful completion of Daily & Weekly Reporting, Month-End Close, Monthly Forecast, CAPEX Planning & Spend, Annual Operating Plan, Client Deliverables, A/P, A/R, Cash & Banking, and assigned Tax & Compliance tasks, for all assigned properties.
  • Travel monthly to assigned locations, to better understand operations, build and sustain relationships, and provide visibility/face time/support, including meeting with clients to strengthen relationships and ensure contract compliance and deliverables.
  • Accommodate internal and external auditors.
  • Ensure proper internal controls to support SOX compliance.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance, accounting, business or a related field 

  • 2+ years of relevant experience, including experience managing direct reports 

  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, and comfort in learning new accounting and finance systems 

  • High level of comfort with frequent change in a fast-paced environment 

  • Desire and drive to strategically partner with non-finance team members and drive financial results
