QUALIFICATIONS:Applicants must have a valid Oregon Registered Nurse LicenseValid Oregon Driver's LicenseStrong interpersonal skills in working with students, staff, parents, and community agenciesExperience in school nursing or community health nursing with school aged children is preferredSchool based nursing experience prefered, but not required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Assumes leadership in planning, coordinating, and implementing the district's primary health program.Keeps current on changes in ORS and OAR.Facilitates health-related inservices.Serves as a medical liaison to parents and community health providers.Monitors infection control kits, health rooms, medicine dispensing procedures, and other delegated duties at each building.Serves as a resource person for school personnel.Attends building and community meetings as needed.
