Job description

Join Fintech headquarters in Tampa as a Vendor Account Executive!

Fintech is seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented Sales Executive to join our dynamic team. The Vendor Sales Executive will focus on building relationships with local, regional and national vendors /distributors that supply products to restaurants, convenience stores, hotels, grocery stores and the like. This role requires a proactive individual skilled in self-sourcing leads, making cold and warm calls, and engaging with high-level decision-makers, including CFOs, in finance and accounts receivable roles to close sales of Fintech’s Vendor solutions.

The Vendor Sales Executive will develop sales strategies for securing new paid subscriptions of Fintech’s non-alcohol invoice management and payment solution for vendors and distributors of non-alc goods and services. This responsibility also includes fulfilling our internal processes for securing the sales and moving the engagement to our onboarding and activation teams.

Requires 3-5 years of experience as front-line individual sales contributor. Additionally, the candidate will need to have a base-level understanding of vendor/distributor business models. Candidates with experience the SMB ecosystem, the SMB customer profile, and down-market sales strategies will be more favorably considered.

Essential Functions: 

Front-Line Seller

  • Prospect and qualify sales leads for pursuits using typical research vehicles like trade publications, industry websites, social media platforms, distributor websites, and third-party partner websites
  • Deliver phone and Zoom sales demos to vendors and distributors of all sizes
  • Utilize a consultative approach to uncover our prospects’ business challenges and position Fintech value statements as a means to mitigate those business challenges
  • Participate in sales-led marketing programs that promote the Vendor solution
  • Prepare, collect and process sales agreements for new clients
  • Participate in team sales cadence meetings and sales performance reporting
  • Achieve the assigned annual Vendor sales quota as front-line sales rep
  • Participate in messaging development of Vendor marketing materials
  • Interact with the Product team to drive product enhancements that can accelerate new sales
  • Provide high level feature/enhancement requirements to the Product team
  • Participate in quarterly product road-mapping exercises
  • Actively work in Fintech’s CRM system for lead tracking, sales opportunity creation and any required sales-related company systems

Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 3-5 years inside or outside B2B sales required
  • Self-starter and tenacious new business hunter

  • Ability to interact and communicate with internal teams and customers in a professional manner
