PGX, LLC is a professional services firm serving the many needs of our clients in various industries. Over the years, we have become a leading provider of professional placement for licensed dispensaries in the NY/NJ area.

Currently, we are seeking staff for a newly opened dispensary in Trenton, NJ. We are seeking an individual with some operational experience in the retail industry who also has a strong desire to expand their career path. An ideal candidate would be from the local regional area.

Qualifications:

  1. US Work Authorization (Required)
  2. 1-2 years of leadership / supervisory experience in a high-volume, fast-paced retail environment
  3. Cannabis experience preferred but not needed
  4. Excellent leadership and coaching skills; empathy and understanding of your team; servant-leadership experience
  5. Proven track record of working effectively with customers/patients
  6. Enthusiasm and a passion for cannabis!
  7. Uncompromising focus on customer service and willingness to bring the best possible experience to our customers
  8. Experience with either communicating or delegating tasks, and/or training and employee development
  9. Able to pass all background checks/fingerprinting as required by state cannabis agencies

Full Job Description

Assistant Manager will oversee the operation of the Toke Lane Dispensary. Assumes full management responsibility in the absence of the Dispensary Manager. This person will work to improve dispensary sales, profitability, and image through extraordinary customer service, protection of store assets, supervising team members.

  • Helps supervise operation of the store and team members, opening/closing/changing shifts, task delegation and scheduling team members
  • Helps supervise the control of the store money including register counts, withdraws from the bank, armored car pickups, safe deposits, change orders and oversees all aspects of bookkeeping including ledger, invoices, cash reports and time records.
  • Monitors and analyzes the customer service provided by team members. Offers feedback and coaching.
  • Maintains knowledge of all computer and technology systems and software (e.g. T.Vs, POS, etc.).
  • Ensures compliance with all corporate policies, applicable employment laws, and is consistently fair in the treatment of all team members.
  • Participates in the company and on-the-job training to improve skills and productivity and attends training requested by the Dispensary Manager.
  • Greets customers/patients and offers assistance with products and services.
  • Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits and Toke Lane service traits.
  • Resolves customer complaints and helps respond to customers' special needs.
  • Communicates regularly with team members through one-on-one discussions, group meetings, soliciting input, answering questions, and ensuring communication are open between management and non-management team members.
  • Assists in planning and attending community events.
  • Weekends are required
