Job Description

TCI is hiring a Dispatcher to coordinate the movement of vehicles and goods across our Sales, Parts, Service, and Collision Center departments. You'll be the point of contact taking inbound requests from customers and internal teams, gathering the details that matter, and getting the right driver on the job, fast. This role fits someone who thrives in a busy, phones-ringing environment, keeps sharp records, and knows their way around the regional roads.

Shift Available:

  • Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm with rotating Saturdays. Occasional work after 3:30 may be needed.

What You'll Do

  • Manage schedules of Dispatch team members, provide assignments, and review timesheets for payroll processing
  • Field customer and internal department requests to coordinate transportation of vehicles or goods in a fast-paced environment
  • Gather key customer and job information, log call details, and maintain accurate records
  • Quote prices and ETAs
  • Dispatch jobs to the appropriate driver(s)
  • Use vehicle tracking software to route jobs and monitor status in real time
  • Support the manager with job notes and other documentation
  • Track mileage, fuel purchases, and other records, and reconcile reports
  • Release vehicles following established procedures
  • Build strong working relationships across departments, teams, and with customers
Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • Valid Driver’s License with ability to meet insurance requirements; Class A or B CDL with endorsements
  • Minimum of 5 years of truck dispatching or transportation administration experience
  • Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal communications skills, even in times of stress
  • Ability to engage with diverse groups of leaders, employees, and customers
  • Strong organization and time management skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple projects seamlessly with excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lead, direct, and coach other team members to achieve collective goals
  • Knowledge of computer operations, data entry, and MS Office
