We are a fast-growing residential Plumbing and HVAC company looking for a full-time, experienced Dispatcher. The candidate we are looking for is serious about their career and advancement. This position is full-time onsite at our location in Reno.

Job Description:

The Plumbing Dispatcher reports to the Internal Operations Manager and is responsible for assigning service calls to technicians, efficiently managing Service Tech schedules and routes each day. Additionally, this position will be responsible for accurately scheduling customer appointments, rescheduling appointments, and working closely with the CSRs.

Daily Job Tasks:

Answer incoming phone calls from Technicians and Customers

Communicate with customers in a friendly, professional manner

Accurately schedule appointments in the computer system

Maintain a constant, professional, line of communication with field employees

Collect correct information from customer

Up sell products and services

Contact customers to move up/reschedule appointments

Stay calm and professional under sometimes high stress situations

Provide excellent external and internal customer service

All other duties assigned by management

Working Conditions:

Work will be performed in an office setting. Occasional lifting of file boxes up to 30lbs. Must be able to sit in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time.

Qualifications:

1 Year experience dispatching for a service company

High school diploma or equivalent

One year customer service experience

Ability to accurately enter data into the computer

Ability to type 30 wpm

Organized and detail oriented

Ability to work under pressure

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
