Job Summary

Our company is a leading provider of commercial and residential glass services in Raleigh, Wake Forest, and the surrounding areas. We are looking for a motivated and organized Service Operations Coordinator to join our team and be the first point of contact for our valued customers. In this role, you will be responsible for managing incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and coordinating our team of skilled technicians to ensure we continue to provide the quality service we are known for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering Phones: Professionally handle a high volume of inbound calls from customers requesting quotes, information, and service for a variety of glass and windshield needs, including commercial and residential doors, windows, and custom mirrors.
  • Scheduling & Dispatching: Efficiently schedule service appointments and dispatch technicians to job sites, optimizing routes to maximize productivity and ensure timely service.
  • Customer Service: Provide accurate quotes, explain our services, and address customer inquiries and concerns with a positive and helpful attitude that reflects our commitment to our customers' interests.
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter customer information, job details, and scheduling notes into our company database.
  • Coordination: Act as the central communication hub between customers, technicians, and management to ensure a smooth workflow from the initial call to job completion.
  • Follow-Up: Conduct follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction and schedule any necessary follow-up appointments.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Previous experience in a dispatching, customer service, or scheduling role is highly preferred. Experience in the glass, construction, or a similar trade industry is a major plus!
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a clear and professional phone manner.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using computers, including MS Office and scheduling software. Ability to learn new software quickly is essential.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage time in a dynamic environment.
