POSITION OVERVIEW:
Take advantage of a unique opportunity to join our team at Delta360 as a Dispatcher. The dispatcher is responsible for planning and managing logistics, overseeing drivers' day to day operations, and customer service. This position will act as the point of contact for customers while managing all aspects of the order from creation to completion. This is a wonderful opportunity to become an important member of the team at Delta360.
ESSENTIALS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Booking truck loads
  • Tracking Shipments to ensure all customers' requirements are met
  • System and status updates to ensure visibility of all shipments
  • Tracking
  • Provide support for customers
  • Assist with projects as directed
  • Work alongside Transportation Manager and other local managers
  • Manage daily delivery schedule for drivers
  • Manage driver monthly schedule
  • Oversee driver time sheets
  • Keep track of HOS/Elogs for drivers
  • Understand and enforce DOT regulations
  • Manage new driver training and training schedules
  • Recommend disciplinary decisions and actions to management team
  • Assists in establishing and evaluating driver performance
  • Monitors and validates accuracy of deliveries

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS / POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • 3+ years' experience in a related field
  • College degree preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and Google Drive
  • Strong organization, problem solving skills, and ability to think creatively
  • Ability to define a problem, collect data, identify, and apply solutions
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
