About the Role & Team:

Japanese-Speaking Vacation Advisors are the essential link between Disney Vacation Club Members and our unparalleled Parks and Resorts in the US, Asia, Europe, voyages on the Disney Cruise Line, and trips to far-flung destinations through Adventures by Disney. If you speak fluent Japanese and English, are comfortable working from home on a computer, and excel at connecting with people over the phone, this is the job for you.

This full-time position is located remotely on the island of Oahu. You will report to the Member Services Manager.

You Will:

  • Provide information (by phone or email) to Japanese-speaking Disney Vacation Club Members about various resorts, cruise ships, restaurants, and activities.
  • Assist Members in planning a customized trip that enhances their time and resources.
  • Keep accurate records by documenting interactions on the computer.
  • Offer expert advice on travel options and amenities available at Disney destinations.
  • Resolve Member concerns and provide solutions to ensure a magical experience.
  • Stay updated with the latest Disney news and offerings to provide current information to Members.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and Member satisfaction.
  • Participate in continuous training and development programs to stay knowledgeable about Disney products and services.

You Will Have:

  • Native-level proficiency in Japanese and professional fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • A high-speed internet connection and a private work environment at home located on the island of Oahu.
  • The ability to help Guests make the most of their vacation time and resources.
  • A knack for connecting with people on the phone and conveying warmth and enthusiasm over email.
  • Availability to work "Japan" hours, from 2 pm to 10 pm, Monday – Friday Hawaii time, with a flexible schedule including holidays.
  • Ability to occasionally work at Aulani resort to meet operational needs such as training.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to make decisions independently in real-time.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent typing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Experience in a call center atmosphere.
  • Knowledge of Disney Vacation Club products and services.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle high-stress situations effectively.

Required Education:

  • High school degree or equivalent.
