Disney is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative and contract coordination support to a team of legal professionals advising multiple Disney Consumer Products ("DCP") lines of business, including Publishing, Disney Store ecommerce and retail operations, Marketing, Events, Public Relations/Communications/Public Affairs and the Synergy and Citizenship teams on DCP-related matters. The ideal candidate is highly reliable, collaborative, proactive, and solution oriented, with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. The candidate must have strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills. This position will report to a Deputy Chief Counsel within DCP Legal and be located at Disney's Grand Central Creative Campus in Glendale, California.

What You Will Do:

  • Prepare non-disclosure agreements and assist with the preparation of other agreements and correspondence.

  • Manage contract circulation and execution, and organize, file and maintain documents in Disney's document management system.

  • Maintain Outlook calendars (including scheduling meetings and calls across domestic and international time zones).

  • Archive communications and agreements.

  • Assist with various projects as needed.

  • Manage administrative tasks, including coordinating with onsite facilities and IT, booking conference rooms, arranging travel, and preparing expense reports.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience supporting in-house legal executives or attorneys at a law firm; candidates with either litigation or transactional experience will be considered.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Willingness to learn, including learning the various business units supported by the DCP Legal team and Disney processes and systems.

  • Professional demeanor and sound judgment, including the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.

  • Self-motivated team player and problem solver who has a positive attitude, takes initiative, and adapts to changing circumstances.

  • Reliable and highly organized individual who pays attention to detail and prioritizes effectively.

  • Proven proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Outlook, and Teams, and an aptitude for learning new software applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with document management systems like NetDocuments and DocuSign.

  • Prior work experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.

  • A Bachelor's Degree.

Education:

Minimum of an associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $65,300.00 to $87,500.00 per year based on a 40- hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
