Job description

Overview
Parkwest Casino is looking for an experienced Dishwasher. This position will consist of dish washing duties. This person must work well with others, must be punctual and maintain a clean environment. The dishwasher is vital to back of the house operations by assisting our line cooks, prep cooks, and servers to ensure clean serving items (plates, bowls, glasses, utensils, ramekins, and other items) are always readily available. If you're the best at what you do and enjoy providing superior service in an exciting atmosphere we would love to meet you!
Responsibilities
  1. A successful dishwasher thrives in a fast paced environment with minimal down time and supervision.
  2. Dishwashers are responsible for cleanliness around the facility if a Janitor is not on duty
  3. As dishwasher you will learn and understand how to properly wash possible hazardous items (example: knives) before working first shift.
  4. The dishwasher should have the ability to work with a team and portray an upbeat, professional demeanor during shift.
  5. Ability to promote positive interactions with guests through sincere greeting and communications.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
  • Open availability. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
  • Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test and criminal background check.

Physical and mental requirements
  • Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to walk, stand, and bend at neck for 6 or more hours a day.
  • Position will require repetitive use of hands for the following actions; simple and power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing & pulling and reaching for entire shift.
  • Position may require exposure to excessive noise, exposure to dust, gas, flames, chemicals, exposure to extremes in temperature, humidity or wetness.
  • Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.
