Atlantic Coast Mortgage, LLC (“ACM”) is seeking a residential mortgage Disclosure Desk Specialist to support the company’s commitment to mortgage regulatory compliance and strong internal controls. This role will help ensure company-wide adherence to corporate policies and regulatory requirements by maintaining appropriate documentation, preparing reports, and coordinating timely testing of internal controls.

This position will assist in conducting self-assessments to better understand the company’s risk environment and confirm that appropriate controls are in place, while building strong relationships with internal teams. The Disclosure Desk Specialist will primarily order and review mortgage loan disclosures and ensure alignment with ECOA, TRID, TILA, RESPA and HMDA regulations and timelines. Opportunities may also exist to contribute to process improvement initiatives and specialized projects that support ACM’s continued growth and success.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor the company’s loan origination system and pipeline views to ensure regulatory and disclosure requirements are met.
  • Utilize the loan origination system to generate and deliver required loan disclosures, redisclosures, and loan documentation to consumers.
  • Review loan files for quality and compliance with SAFE Act, UDAAP, TRID, TILA, RESPA, ECOA, HMDA, ATR-QM APR/fee tests, and state mortgage disclosure requirements.
  • Provide support in responding to inquiries submitted to the Disclosure Desk.
Qualifications
  • Basic computer proficiency, including knowledge of common hardware and software.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word).
  • Prior experience with the Encompass/ICE loan origination system.
  • Prior experience with Mavent compliance review service preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly learn and apply state and federal compliance requirements and processes.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage large volumes of information and documentation.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and errors.
  • Ability to manage high workloads while balancing shifting priorities, milestones, and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
  • Familiarity with mortgage-related regulations (SAFE Act, UDAAP, TRID, TILA, RESPA, ECOA, HMDA, ATR-QM APR/fee tests, and state mortgage disclosure requirements) is a plus.
