The Cash Management Disbursement Supervisor will supervise the day-to-day work and train cash management associates. Responsible for coordinating and processing of all incoming invoices for loan level disbursements, stop pay/void requests, payoff disbursements, wire and transfers to vendors, positive pay exceptions, and disbursement reconciliation. Assist with applying payments to residential mortgage accounts. Perform all duties in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The approved Target Pay Range for this position is $77,000 to $87,000.
What you'll do:
  • Perform management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, including hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; monitoring performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Direct workflow and day-to-day operations of the cash management disbursement team to ensure timely and accurate work is performed.
  • Coordinate and execute training plans for staff.
  • Communicate with appropriate business units as needed regarding research items, disbursement requests, and process improvements.
  • Lead internal and/or external audits for the department; report, resolve and address the finding(s).
  • Conduct and oversee internal monthly associate audits; report and address the finding(s) with the staff.
  • Assist staff with questions/research inquires.
  • Assist Management with escalated research issues.
  • Provide support for project testing on all Cash Management projects; gather information, conduct testing, and communicate any findings/issues.
  • Disburse and oversee disbursement of checks by the staff in a timely manner to appropriate vendors, following company cash policies.
  • Reconcile all disbursements on a daily basis.
  • Process and oversee submission of wires & transfers for vendor disbursements.
  • Process all stop payment and void requests.
  • Monitor exception reports related to cash, within the Servicing Division.
  • Serve as secondary support for receiving, recording, and compiling all incoming payments/checks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you'll need:
  • High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Five (5) or more years' experience in cash management and/or disbursement.
  • Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
  • Strong reasoning ability and organization skills.
  • Ability to understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions.
  • Ability to make decisions that have significant impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside the immediate work unit.
  • Ability to organize and communicate thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work schedules of others on short-term and long-term basis.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and to record, balance, and check results for accuracy.
  • Ability to compose letters, outlines, memoranda, and basic reports and/or to orally communicate technical information.
  • Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word, communicating orally with others accurately, audibly, and quickly.
