Job Summary:
Tutor Perini Corporation is a leading civil, building, and specialty construction company seeking a Systems Administrator to join their office in Henderson, NV. The role involves ensuring the stability and efficiency of a hybrid IT environment, managing core infrastructure, and supporting identity and access services.
Responsibilities:
• Configure, maintain, and optimize Microsoft Windows Server environments, including patching, performance tuning, and system hardening.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Intune to ensure reliable and secure collaboration across the organization.
• Manage and operate VMware vSphere infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, virtual machines, resource pools, templates, and cluster health.
• Support and maintain HCI platforms, ensuring stable compute, storage, and virtualization performance across hybrid workloads.
• Administer hybrid identity environments, including Entra ID (Azure AD) and on premises Active Directory, with responsibilities spanning user lifecycle management, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and authentication services.
• Implement and maintain backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions to support business continuity and ensure rapid recovery from system failures or outages.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability, and respond to operational incidents to maintain a stable and resilient infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain automation and scripting (primarily PowerShell) to streamline administrative tasks, improve consistency, and reduce manual effort.
• Document system configurations, operational procedures, and infrastructure standards to support knowledge sharing and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to support enterprise applications, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver reliable IT services to distributed offices and remote users.
• Apply security best practices across servers, cloud services, and virtualized environments to safeguard systems and data.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3+ years of experience administering Microsoft Windows Server environments and core infrastructure services.
• Experience managing Microsoft 365 platforms, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and related cloud services.
• Hands‑on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere and familiarity with Nutanix HCI platforms.
• Strong understanding of hybrid identity, including Entra ID (Azure AD), on‑premises Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, and DHCP.
• Demonstrated ability to support backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions in a hybrid environment.
