The Front Desk Greeter is responsible for projecting a positive, welcoming image to members, visitors, and vendors.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities                                                                            

  • Consistently meet all Shell FCU Service Commitments; Shell FCU Employee Creed and Shell FCU Service Distinctions.
  • Accountable to maintain knowledge of and comply with all applicable rules and regulations required within the scope of duties, including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.
  • Required to complete annual training sessions as instructed or scheduled.
  • Perform job duties and responsibilities in compliance to Shell FCU policies, procedures, philosophy, and standards of performance.
  • Greets and welcomes each member, visitor, and vendor with a smile. Kindly offers direction to the appropriate area and/or team member.
  • Sign members into Better Lobby and offers an estimated wait time, if applicable.
  • Ensures member’s sunglasses and hats are removed for security reasons, prior to entering the branch.
  • Check in on the member when time permits and offer water and or coffee.
  • Aids in creating a positive and high energy environment for the branch.
  • Maintains awareness of the lobby and branch surroundings.
  • Performs various administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
  • Must be able and willing to work 40 hours per week plus overtime, as needed.
  • Must be able to work the rotating opening, closing and Saturday schedule, as needed.
  • Works with the Management team to send out important reminders, daily productivity, and other useful information to the team.
  • Updates Marketing material throughout the branch, as needed.
  • Handle Credit Union popcorn days as assigned including operating the machine, handing out popcorn, maintaining supplies and cleaning the machine.
  • Maintains the branch lobby clean, clear of clutter and presentable for all visitors.
  • Fills check stand supplies and Marketing material as needed throughout the branch.
  • Receive and distribute packages and/or deliveries as needed.
  • May assist in training new greeters as needed.
  • Assist the team with daily responsibilities as needed, included but not limited to:
  • Following opening and closing procedures.
  • Daily balancing of the coin machine
  • May assist with daily opening and closing of SDB vault as well as completing an inventory audit.
  • Wiling to assist the team at other branch locations, if needed.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend and stand. May at times be able to lift, carry and/or move up to 55 pounds.
