Job description

Job Description

The Wynn Las Vegas Assistant Director of Workforce Management Analytics works proactively with business leaders to identify labor optimization opportunities.  Seeks to understand business needs based on established service standards and productivity levels for all positions and maximize occasions for departmental and company success. This task will encompass monitoring and evaluating the staffing levels, business volume efficiency, and correlated customer satisfaction results for all areas of the property. This position requires a strong background in information technology, process improvement experience and statistical analysis. The Assistant Director of Workforce Management will report directly to the Director of Workforce Management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Observe, receive, and otherwise obtain information from all relevant business sources.
  • Analyze staffing data provided by department and Finance and make recommendations to senior management.
  • Prepare detailed reports on findings. Review and communicate recommendations and guidelines for solutions to business leaders and human resources.
  • Develop turnkey reports, including data gathering, processing, automation, documentation, accuracy, and resolving issues and questions.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses of labor issues.
  • Provide input into the strategic plan consistent with the strategic vision of the division.
  • Work with complex department heads to adjust staffing models
  • Actively advise and provide guidance to the business units around scheduling, labor management and leave management.
  • Assist in the direction of Workforce Management operations, including day-to-day activities, process optimization, performance outcomes, and the effective management, development, coaching, and support of staff to achieve organizational goals and operational excellence.
  • Act as the Director in their absence.
  • Perform other job duties as requested by executive leaders.
Qualifications
  • Two or more years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to partner and communicate with property leaders.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with reporting software preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in finance, business, accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in hospitality operations.
  • Experience in a resort setting.
  • The ideal candidate will have superior communications skills

  • 21 years of age or above.
  • No certifications or work cards are required for this position.
