Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Workforce Management Process Analyst out of our Avon, IN and occasionally our Danville, IL facility - the incumbent will travel between the two.
What You Will Do:
  • As a Workforce Management Process Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the workforce management system while partnering with operations leadership to improve productivity, efficiency, and resource utilization.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain labor standards for warehouse operations.
  • Conduct time studies and workflow analysis to establish accurate performance expectations.
  • Maintain warehouse layouts, process maps, and operational flow documentation.
  • Collect and analyze operational data to identify opportunities for labor and process improvements.
  • Review workforce management reports and performance metrics with supervisors and management teams.
  • Train supervisors and support staff on workforce management tools, reporting processes, labor standards, and performance measurement methodologies.
  • Maintain system data, including job codes, equipment information, security access, employee schedules, and related workforce management files.
  • Validate labor standards and recommend corrective actions when process, equipment, or operational changes occur.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate labor adjustment requests and exercise sound judgment to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Who You Are:
  • You are an analytical problem-solver with a strong understanding of warehouse and distribution operations.
  • You enjoy working with data, identifying process improvement opportunities, and collaborating with leaders to drive operational excellence.
  • You communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization and can translate complex information into practical solutions.

What You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Equivalent industry experience of 8-10 years may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Possess 4-6 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, industrial engineering, workforce management, or related operations environments.

Skills & Abilities:
  • Knowledge of warehouse and distribution center operations.
  • Experience conducting time studies, labor analysis, or process improvement activities.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Proficiency with computer applications, databases, and reporting tools.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to train and coach operational personnel on workforce management processes and tools.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
