Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer – Transmission & Driveline Development & Validation to join our engineering team. This role is responsible for the design, development, testing, and validation of automatic transmission, driveline, and gear reducer systems. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in powertrain engineering and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment focused on delivering high-quality vehicle performance and durability. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead development and validation activities for transmission, driveline, and gear reducer systems 
  • Design and develop components aligned to performance, durability, and functional requirements 
  • Plan and execute validation testing, including test plans, bill of materials (BOM), and test schedules 
  • Support test cell setup, instrumentation, debugging, and execution of validation programs 
  • Perform root cause analysis of test issues, failures, and stoppages; drive corrective actions 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, software, calibration, thermal management, and engine engineering teams
  • Analyze test data and generate validation reports with actionable recommendations 
  • Lead post-test inspection activities and documentation of results 
  • Manage multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables effectively 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering or related degree field 
  • 5 or more years of engineering experience in Automatic Transmission/Driveline/Gear Reducer design, development, calibration or controls
  • Must have excellent communication and presentation skills as well as experience with basic PC software (e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project)
  • Candidate must be highly motivated, self-directed, have the ability to manage multiple complex projects, and have a positive attitude.
