We are looking for our next Director, Treasury Operations that has a leadership role to assist in oversight of operational and analytical processes in support of Executive Director of Treasury Operations and AVP Treasurer. Duties will include cash management, reporting, ledger management, reconciliations, interaction with University faculty and administration, bank, custodian and counterparties of the University interacting with Treasury.
The role will also work closely with the investment office. Assist Executive Director of Treasury Operations and Assistant Vice President Treasurer in improving transparency, quality of data, response time and safety of University resources.
SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY:
Reports to the Assistant Treasurer in support of treasury department.
NATURE AND SCOPE:
This senior hire provides support principally for cash activities in the Treasurer's office but all other support of the Assistant Treasurer.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Cash management
  • Reporting
  • Ledger management
  • Reconciliations
  • Interaction with University faculty and administration, bank, custodian and counterparties of the University interacting with Treasury

  • Accounting proficiency
  • Capable of assisting in approval process to identify and embed AI in core treasury operations

  • Ability to deliver accurate deliverables
  • Strong organizational skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to establish credibility within the Office and University, and with representatives of external service providers.

  • Presentation skills using PowerPoint and/or Canva

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Undergraduate degree, minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and treasury functions, CPA preferred

Compensation Range: $150,000 - $175,000
