About the Role

We’re looking for a utility player to join our sustainability team. This role will help implement strategic initiatives and support key activities toward our corporate sustainability goals, including CO2 emissions reductions, operational energy efficiency, and supply chain impacts. This is a dynamic role with significant exposure to the global RWC senior leadership team – you’ll get to work on exciting things with great people and make your mark.

Responsibilities include:

  • Data management of Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions, waste, and water across RWC’s global footprint, driving accuracy and completeness in alignment with global reporting standards, assurance requirements and regulations
  • Assist with governance, process development, documentation, and assurance with external auditors
  • Assist with Scope 3 measurement and reduction strategy including initiatives for supply chain engagement
  • Research renewable energy procurement and sustainability trends in global markets
  • Analyze and report operational energy data to provide insights for emissions reduction activities
  • Collaborate within committee and working group structures to drive initiatives across the regions, working together towards shared goals
  • Evaluate results on an ongoing basis to effectively examine progress and identify areas for continual improvement
  • Build strong relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Assist senior leadership in developing presentations, reports and other materials

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sustainability, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or relevant discipline
  • 0-2+ years professional experience
  • Understanding of environmental, social, and governance reporting frameworks including IFRS and GHG Protocol is a plus
  • Experience managing sustainability or other cloud data platforms is a plus
  • Background in manufacturing or consumer packaged goods is a plus
