Job description

What if your architecture became the industry blueprint for agentic AI? As a Principal SA embedded with a Fortune 500 technology leader, you'll architect, design, and build multi-agent systems at massive scale while advising C-Suite executives on AI transformation.
The Opportunity
You'll serve as a trusted technical advisor to a technology company that is actively reshaping their industry using AI. You will be a technical counterpart to customer executives who speak fluent AI and expect their AWS Solutions Architect to match that depth and push the conversation further.
The customer is:
- Deploying specialized AI agents across every stage of the traveler journey - from inspiration to booking to in-trip support
- Pioneering a Business-to-Agent (B2A) marketing paradigm - treating AI agents as a first-class audience
- Building MCP-based infrastructure that opens services to third-party AI agents at massive scale
- Leveraging frontier foundation models for real-time inference, fine-tuning, and agentic orchestration
What Makes This Role Different
This role:
- Shapes the technical agenda for the account and operates at the C-Suite level
- Builds net-new architectures that become the reference
- Focuses on business outcomes
- Influences company-wide AI strategy
- Span GenAI, ML platforms, agentic systems, data, and infrastructure
Key job responsibilities
- Build - create prototypes, reference implementations, and production-ready architectures that prove the value of new AI capabilities at scale
- Serve as the trusted technical voice - shaping the industry-level conversation on AI
- Access the full power of AWS - engage specialist teams, applied science resources, and product groups to deliver outcomes that no single team could achieve alone
- Pioneer new patterns - the solutions you build define how the industry approaches agentic AI, model orchestration, and intelligent automation
- Mentor the next generation - develop Solutions Architects who can operate at this altitude and complexity
A day in the life
This is a builder role. You will:
- Architect agentic AI systems - design multi-agent orchestration frameworks, model fine-tuning pipelines, and real-time inference platforms that serve hundreds of millions of users
- Prototype and prove - build working POCs that demonstrate the art of the possible, turning executive vision into deployable architectures in days, not quarters
- Shape AI product strategy - sit in the room where roadmaps are set, influencing not just how but what gets built, both at the customer and within AWS
- Drive the technical relationship - own the end-to-end technical strategy for the customer
About the team
This role is based in Strategic Accounts Atlas District - a team of limitless builders. The team is at the epicenter of AI innovation.
