ABOUT THIS POSITION
Waystar is seeking a strategic, client-focused leader to serve as Director, Solution Adoption - Clearinghouse. This role is responsible for leading a team of managers, consultants, and implementation professionals who drive the successful onboarding, activation, adoption, and optimization of Waystar's Clearinghouse solutions.
The Director will be accountable for delivering exceptional client outcomes, developing high-performing teams, ensuring predictable revenue realization, and driving operational excellence across a portfolio of enterprise healthcare clients. This leader must balance people development, client success, and business performance while partnering cross-functionally with Product, PMO, Advisory Services, Client Success, Sales, and Executive Leadership.
This is a highly visible leadership role requiring strong executive presence, healthcare revenue cycle expertise, and a passion for developing people and building scalable operating models.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Leadership & Talent Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop managers and consultants across the Clearinghouse Solution Adoption organization.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive employee engagement, retention, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top implementation and consulting talent.
  • Serve as a role model for Waystar's values and leadership principles.

Client Success & Delivery Execution
  • Own successful implementation, activation, stabilization, and adoption of Clearinghouse solutions for enterprise clients.
  • Ensure clients achieve measurable business outcomes and realize value from their Waystar investment.
  • Serve as an executive escalation point for critical client situations.
  • Partner directly with client executives to build trusted relationships and align on strategic objectives.
  • Drive execution excellence across project planning, configuration, testing, activation, and stabilization activities.

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Collaborate with Product, PMO, Advisory Services, Client Success, Sales, Support, and Transformation teams.
  • Influence decisions and drive alignment across organizations without direct authority.
  • Represent Solution Adoption in executive discussions regarding client commitments, delivery strategies, and organizational priorities.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Required
• 8+ years of healthcare technology, healthcare operations, or revenue cycle leadership experience.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience, including managing managers.
• Experience leading enterprise implementations or client-facing delivery organizations.
• Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle workflows.
• Proven ability to manage executive-level client relationships and escalations.
• Demonstrated success leading teams through growth, change, and transformation.
Preferred
• Experience with Clearinghouse, Eligibility, Claims, Remittance, EDI, or Revenue Cycle technologies.
• Knowledge of Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or other major provider technologies.
• SaaS implementation or professional services leadership experience.
• Experience managing geographically distributed teams.
