Job description

The Role
We are hiring a Director / Senior Director, RIA Relationship Management to help lead Allocate's growth with wealth advisory firms, specifically focused on [West Coast, Midwest, East Coast] RIAs.
This role focuses exclusively on RIAs and wealth advisory firms, partnering with their CIOs, investment teams, and core operating partners, to help them build programmatic private markets portfolios using Allocate's platform.
You will operate at the intersection of investment expertise, consultative sales, and strategic relationship building, helping build the future of private markets.
What You'll Do
  • Build trusted relationships with CIOs, investment committees, and senior leadership at leading RIAs to help scale their private markets programs
  • Drive adoption of Allocate's platform across curated investment opportunities (from venture and growth to private equity and private credit), white label fund solutions, and Allocate Insights, focusing on driving adoption and revenue growth
  • Lead the full relationship lifecycle from initial introduction to long-term partnership
  • Partner closely with the investment, product, and operations teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes, creating a consistent feedback loop between clients and product innovation
  • Be a leader out in the field for Allocate, representing Allocate at industry events and key client gatherings
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
  • 7-10+ years of experience in relationship management, focused on RIAs and wealth advisory firms
  • Exceptional relationship-building ability with senior decision makers
  • Ability to explain complex investment strategies clearly
  • Background specifically in alternatives, technology sales, or a combination of both (Preference for strong technology background and interest)
  • Experience, knowledge and interest in sophisticated alternatives offerings, from venture growth, and private equity to co-investments and secondaries opportunities
  • Track record of sourcing and closing complex deals
  • Strategic account development mindset
  • High degree of self-direction and ownership
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
