Job description

This position will be fully remote and required to reside in either Ohio or Indianapolis

As the Client Solutions Director, you'll work closely with your team of Client Solutions Advisors to ensure the overall Client Security First mantra is upheld. In addition, the Client Solutions Director will have client-facing responsibilities aligned at the executive level and build a trusted advisor status at that level.

Internally, the Client Solutions Director will lead teams dedicated to pre-sales excellence in security advisement. Client Solutions Directors provide clear leadership goals and guidance to the team, ensuring the overall quality throughout the pre-sales process. The Client Advisors will have a single point of contact in the Client Solutions Director to whom they can escalate concerns and questions about process, procedural, technical, and client-related issues.

Client Solutions Directors will also assist in planning, executing, and delegating strategic initiatives for the company, area, and region. This will include engaging with Sales to coordinate regional planning around events, marketing, targeted training, and overall regional growth.

How you'll make an impact

  • Provides team leadership, mentoring, and development of Client Solutions resources

  • Assist the Sales Area VP and Regional Directors with developing sales, marketing, and training plans for the appropriate region(s)

  • Perform people leader coaching, goal setting, and annual reviews

  • Spearheads the development of new Client Solutions business motions, procedures, and standards

  • Promotes communication and coordination across the Client Solutions leadership team to ensure continuity, consistency, and collaboration among the various teams

  • Attend client meetings as needed with Client Solutions staff to ensure engagement success

  • Coordinate appropriate pre-sales resources to ensure greater success with opportunities

  • Meet quarterly and annual quota objectives working in partnership with the sales team by adding value throughout the sales motion with such activities as:

    • Facilitating new discussions by leveraging peer and industry network contacts

    • Telling the Optiv story as the market leading cyber security advisor and solutions partner

    • Performing requirements analysis and qualification of opportunities

    • Coordinating internal Optiv resources for demonstrations and management of security technology evaluations

    • Partner with the internal Optiv teams to align client expectations with the entire Optiv solution portfolio, ensuring service delivery excellence

  • Partner relationship management with our vendor partners

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and news to provide thought leadership, support, analysis and guidance to clients and internal Optiv groups

What we're looking for

  • Certifications - Industry-recognized certifications preferred

  • Travel - Up to 50% travel will be required consistently

Salary Range Description

$157,000.00 - $213,000.00 Annual

The Hiring Range provided for this role is informed by (but not limited to) various factors including responsibilities of the position, work experience, education/training, internal peer equity, geography, as well as other market influences when extending an offer. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for these factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a variable incentive-based bonus plan.
