  • Own the strategy, relationships, and long-term health of Ramsey's radio affiliate network.

  • Manage the radio marketing budget and strategy to support affiliates, strengthen listenership, and create impact.

Job description

Description

Director of Radio Affiliate Relations

Team: Ramsey Network

Please note that applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Location: Franklin, TN—on-site, relocation assistance available, flexible schedules available

A Little Bit About Us: You might know us from our founder and CEO, Dave Ramsey, who's given no-nonsense money advice on the radio since 1992. Three decades later, Ramsey Solutions is a household name in personal finance, with a mission to change the toxic money culture for good.

Our Mission: Ramsey Solutions provides biblically based, commonsense education and empowerment that give HOPE to everyone in every walk of life.

Here's a Taste of Our Benefits:

  • Health insurance (includes plans eligible for an HSA—with a company match up to $500!)
  • 401(k) retirement plan with 4% match/company contribution
  • Annual wellness, counseling and grocery membership reimbursement
  • On-campus cafe with subsidized pricing for breakfast, lunch and coffee bar
  • Dependent care FSA
  • Tons of cultural activities, like weekly devotional, leadership development courses, Battle of the Bands, and one epic Christmas party!

Where and How You'd Work:
Ramsey Solutions Headquarters is located just outside of Nashville in Franklin, Tennessee. We value our strong, unified company culture because we believe the best work is done together. That's why all of our team members work on-site under the same roof. But work-life balance is also important to us, so we offer flexible work schedules to take the stress out of appointments, family obligations and other needs that may pop up.

While every team member has a designated workspace (with an electronic sit-stand desk), our campus was designed to house a variety of unique work and play zones (e.g., quiet library space, coffee bar/lounge areas, recreational game zone, and outside/patio work and break areas).

What You'd Do in This Role:
For more than three decades, Ramsey's radio affiliate network has helped The Ramsey Show reach people in communities across the country. As Director, Radio Affiliate Relations, you'll own the strategy, relationships, and long-term health of this high-impact national distribution channel.

You'll serve as the primary relationship leader for more than 600 radio affiliates nationwide, including program directors, general managers, and station groups. Your work will protect and strengthen existing partnerships while identifying opportunities to grow Ramsey's reach in strategic markets.

This is not simply a role focused on maintaining relationships. You'll bring both a strong relationship instinct and a commercial mindset, helping affiliates win, making thoughtful asks, representing Ramsey within the radio industry, and ensuring The Ramsey Show remains a valuable and trusted part of stations' programming.

You'll also own the radio marketing budget and strategy, using those investments intentionally to support affiliates, strengthen listenership, and create meaningful impact. From conferences and industry events to ongoing partner conversations, you'll be the face of Ramsey to the radio industry.

You're Probably a Match If:

  • You have 8+ years of experience in radio, broadcast media, syndication, affiliate relations, station-group partnerships, or content distribution.
  • You understand how program directors, general managers, and station groups make decisions, and what makes a syndication partnership successful.
  • You have built and maintained strategic relationships across a large, complex portfolio, not simply closed a deal and handed it off.
  • You balance exceptional partner service with the confidence to make an ask, protect the business, and pursue growth opportunities.
  • You have experience shaping and managing a marketing budget and using it strategically to drive results.
  • You are highly organized and comfortable owning operational details, including contracts, renewals, market coverage, budgets, and partner communication.
  • You use CRM data and industry insight to understand relationship health, spot risk early, and identify new opportunities.
  • You genuinely believe in Ramsey's mission to help people take control of their money and change their lives.

What Winning Looks Like:

  • Ramsey maintains and grows a healthy affiliate network of 600+ stations, with meaningful expansion in strategic markets.
  • Our most important affiliates feel known, supported, and proactively equipped with tools and opportunities that help them win.
  • Affiliate retention and renewals remain strong because partners see clear value in carrying The Ramsey Show.
  • You identify relationship risk early and address it before a station goes dark or a contract is at risk.
  • Ramsey has a growing presence and trusted reputation within the radio industry through conferences, ongoing relationship-building, and consistent follow-through.
  • The radio marketing budget is used intentionally to support affiliates, strengthen listenership, and create measurable impact.
  • You bring forward new station, market, and partnership opportunities that expand The Ramsey Show's reach.

Other Stuff to Know:
We're looking for people who are passionate about our mission. This isn't just a J-O-B. We experience resistance every day because what we believe is absolutely countercultural. We actually hate debt. We actually cut up our credit cards . . . like, for real. Some of us are still fighting our way out of debt, but we aren't going back. If you don't know much about Ramsey Solutions and our founder, Dave Ramsey, we encourage you to download the Ramsey Network mobile app and consume our content.

If Ramsey Solutions sounds like a workplace where you can get excited about Mondays, apply today. We can't wait to hear from you!
