Summary of Role:

Our Quantum Technology Solutions group is seeking an experienced manager to support the 300mm semiconductor technology development integration team. The core responsibilities of this team involve ownership of process integration of Silicon Photonic devices from development, customer engagement to production. The ideal candidate has management experience and can demonstrate a technical understanding of Silicon Photonics, a balanced scorecard approach to develop, sustain, and improve the technologies with quality, cost, and delivery all considered.

Essential Responsibilities:

Ensures that all new technologies and features meet a standardized set of quality expectations Typically performs one or more of the following in capacity of either an individual contributor (as directed and/or independently), or as a manager:
Ensures that all new technologies and features meet a standardized set of quality and financial expectations through management of customer, supplier, manufacturing and/or new technology quality, and recourses.
Provides tools and complex analysis of quality issues and associated financial implications
Protects clients by ensuring that the maturity of a given technology, technology models and IP, meets industry expectations.
Protects the business by ensuring that all necessary requirements are met and that a technology performs to the expectations of a given customer or market to avoid costly re-designs.
Ensures standardization of site-based quality processes are executed appropriately
Drives increased discipline and qualification robustness through a consistent global qualification process
May support multiples sites based on numbers of new technologies
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Work and collaborate other projects and/or assignments as needed.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • PHD's/Master Degree with 10+ years of working experience in relevant field. Degree must be in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics or other relevant engineering physical science discipline.

  • Experience in Si photonics preferred

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written

  • Fluency in English Language - written & verbal

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Results oriented and focused on quality of work

  • Excellent structured problem solving and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles

  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, clients, as well as internal and external partners.

  • Strong presentation and technical writing skills

  • Self-starter and highly motivated to succeed in a fast-paced and challenging professional environment

  • Strong background in photonics and CMOS device physics, semiconductor processing, and device characterization.

Expected Salary Range

$143,000.00 - $247,000.00
