States. Fully vertically integrated, we develop, acquire, and manage micro-bay properties across the country's top markets. We move fast, think strategically, and build systems that scale — and we're looking for an engineer who does the same.


Role Overview

The Leasing & Property Manager will drive WorkBay success in their home market by: Leasing WorkBay properties to outstanding business tenants, assuring positive owner-tenant relationships, driving industry-leading tenant retention rates, and assisting with the management of WorkBay properties and assets.

 

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Manage tenant showings and post-showing leads
  • Conduct in-person showings of properties with prospective tenants
  • Use WorkBay CRM program to track tenant leads and maintain a robust lead pipeline
  • Development tenant leads through cold calling and competitor site visits


Lease Management

  • Bring leads to a successful close by signing tenants to WorkBay-approved leases
  • Understand & assist with Appfolio app, CRM, & lease-up processes & explain the lease to incoming tenants
  • Facilitate the move-in and move-out of tenants (keys, etc.)
  • Assist with lease renewals and customer retention
  • Conduct move-out security deposit reviews of departing tenants
  • Assist with evictions as needed


Tenant Support and Retention

  • Maintain positive relationships with existing and prospective tenants.
  • Assist tenants with onboarding (insurance, licensing, deposit, payments, pictures, etc.)
  • Make daily visits to tenants - building and confirming tenant satisfaction and loyalty
  • Assist with additional key, signage, and other tenant requests
  • Assist with tenants' day-to-day issues


Property Management

  • Conduct site visits and inspections
  • Help manage properties by reporting tenant and property maintenance requests
  • Learn to operate our property management software (Appfolio)
  • Facilitate successful tenant support from the home office


WorkBay Business and Brand Development

  • Be the WorkBay eyes and ears in your respective market
  • Assist with future property acquisitions via on-site visits, inquiries, and cold calls
  • Assist with any other responsibilities at WorkBay's discretion
  • Strive to exceed WorkBay and tenant expectations in all areas


Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Prefer 2 or more years of strong performance in business-to-business sales (B2B sales), account management, business development, or outside sales
  • Real estate or property management experience is helpful but not required
  • Bilingual: Spanish and English speaking
  • Proven time management skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette and demonstrated customer service skills
  • Proactive approach to problem solving with the ability to influence positive outcomes
  • Strong attention to detail; self-directed; and the ability to multitask
  • Experience with Hubspot or comparable CRM tools (Salesforce) to manage pipelines
