Job description

At Digital Turbine, we make mobile advertising experiences more meaningful and rewarding for users, app publishers, and advertisers - intelligently connecting people in more ways, across more devices. We provide app publishers and advertisers with powerful ads and experiences that captivate consumers, fuel performance, and help telecoms and OEMs supercharge awareness, acquisition, and monetization. In a rapidly evolving industry, we are constantly innovating and creating better paths of discovery to connect consumers, publishers, and advertisers across the mobile ecosystem.

Please note that Digital Turbine is a hybrid work environment-only candidates local to the posting location will be considered.

Digital Turbine - Senior Director, Product Management

Location: New York, NY | Durham, NC | Austin, TX

About Digital Turbine:

Digital Turbine (Nasdaq: APPS) is the leading independent mobile growth platform, sitting at the intersection of carriers, OEMs, and the global app economy. Our technology powers how apps get discovered, installed, and monetized at scale - across hundreds of millions of devices worldwide.

Role Summary:

We are looking for a strategic and technically fluent Senior Director of Product Management to lead platform operations for our on-device solutions. You will own the evolution of our mobile platform, drive SDK and distribution strategy, and position Digital Turbine as the partner of choice for carriers, OEMs, and developers globally.

You'll manage a team of Product Managers, navigate complex carrier and developer relationships, and operate at the intersection of platform, monetization, and regulatory strategy.

About the Sr. Director, Product Management role:
  • Define and execute platform strategy - own the roadmap for our on-device distribution platform, driving global scale and partner adoption.

  • Lead platform consolidation-drive the technical unification of our SDK surface into a cohesive, high performance framework for internal and external use.

  • Own carrier and developer partnerships - align closely with major telecommunications carriers and top-tier developers on distribution strategy, commercialization, and compliance.

  • Drive platform security and integrity - lead the development of SDK-based layers that protect developers and partners against evolving mobile platform risks.

  • Build and lead the team - directly manage, mentor, and scale a product management team across multiple platform verticals. Drive a culture of experimentation and accountability.

  • Navigate regulatory complexity - serve as the internal expert on mobile ecosystem shifts, OS policy changes, and the regulatory landscape affecting app distribution. Translate developments into proactive product strategy.

  • Elevate partner engagement - turn partner business reviews into strategic, cross-functional exercises that reflect the full breadth of our platform value.

About YOU as the Sr. Director, Product Management:
  • Technically fluent - you're comfortable in the details of mobile OS environments, SDK architecture, and distribution mechanics. Engineering respects you.

  • A clear-eyed operator - you run tight teams, drive decisions, and don't let ambiguity become an excuse for inaction.

  • A relationship builder - carriers, developers, and internal stakeholders trust you. You know how to manage high-stakes external relationships without losing momentum.

  • Regulatory-aware - you follow the mobile ecosystem closely and translate policy shifts into product action before they become problems.

  • A people developer - you build PMs up, not just manage them. You know the difference.

You Have Experience In:
  • Mobile platform or ad tech product management - 12+ years in mobile ecosystems, platform distribution, or mobile ad tech, with 3+ years at Director level or above.

  • SDK or device-layer product - you've shipped products close to the OS. You understand Android, app distribution mechanics, and OEM dynamics.

  • Carrier or OEM relationships - direct experience managing technical and commercial alignments with major telecom carriers or device manufacturers.

  • Regulatory and compliance fluency - mobile app compliance, privacy legislation, and the ability to turn complex policy developments into clear product priorities.

  • Cross-functional leadership - proven ability to lead product pods across engineering, commercial, and partner teams simultaneously.

  • Data-driven product development - you build experimentation into the process, not as an afterthought.

Why Digital Turbine:
  • Real platform scale - hundreds of millions of devices and deep carrier relationships globally.

  • A defining moment in mobile - the distribution landscape is shifting and this role sits at the center of it.

  • High-ownership environment - real scope, real accountability, from day one.

  • Competitive compensation, equity, and full benefits.

At Digital Turbine, we are committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation. The salary range for this position is $259,000 - $310,000, based on experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including (stock options, unlimited PTO and performance based bonus). We believe in fostering an environment where employees are valued and compensated fairly for their contributions.
