Join Baxter Healthcare Corporation as an Associate Director, PMO, where your work makes a difference! This outstanding opportunity allows you to provide business and technical leadership for high-complexity programs, managing project teams through various stages from initiation to implementation.

Associate Directors at Baxter lead their teams in addressing diverse business needs, including financial analysis, while providing high-level project mentorship. You will collaborate with numerous cross-functional partners, ensuring flawless program execution, and interact with internal and external collaborators.

As a mentor within the function, you will develop Portfolio and Project Management capabilities across the organization. You will handle projects of varying complexity, including standard, complex, and differentiated developments, and may manage execution for business development deals within your unit.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead and oversee a portfolio of complex product programs, ensuring successful execution, budget management, and on-time delivery.

  • Drive long-range planning through product estimation, portfolio assessment, and pipeline prioritization.

  • Direct major global product launches and strategic initiatives across cross-functional teams.

  • Develop program strategies, establish goals, and guide team performance and development efforts.

  • Build and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and business productivity.

  • Partner with stakeholders to define program direction, manage priorities, and align strategies with market and supply chain insights.

  • Foster effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement through regular program reviews and updates.

  • Proactively identify risks, resolve conflicts, and drive continuous improvement to strengthen program execution and business outcomes.

What You'll Bring:
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience in product life cycle.

  • MBA/MS preferred with 10+ years in product development or equivalent experience in new product commercialization.

  • Experience with technology transfers and working with external vendors.

  • PMI or IPMA certification or equivalent experience desired.

  • Strong knowledge of medical products, processes, and related fields such as operations, regulatory, quality, and product development.

  • Proven strategic leadership, mentoring, and management capabilities.

  • Understanding of financial tools and budget setting.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and mentor others, embodying Baxter Leadership proficiencies.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $176,000-$242,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
